Ben Davis
[b. 1985, Western Australia]

Currently investigating and documenting urbanism, self-sufficiency, and organic living in Japan.

Constantly observing and absorbing; I routinely documenting with photographs, thoughts scribbled in notepads and accumulated paraphenalia. In particular, I am interested in identity, perception and the relationship between the community and the environment, both natural and manufactured.

I have experience working in Australia as a sustainability consultant on urban development and revitalisation, an engineer, and most recently creating installation art.

geometricity is a considered, evolving collection of my photography, creative projects and observations.
